Johnson attends McEachern High School in Georgia, and he is a member of the 2027 recruiting class. He holds offers from Alabama, Missouri, Wake Forest and others.
The Crimson Tide offered Johnson during the summer after he camped in Tuscaloosa. He clocked in a 4.43 40-yard dash during the camp performance.
“It was a blessing for sure,” Johnson said in reference to earning an offer from Alabama. “Just knowing the kind of players that have come through that program.”

The junior went on to give his overall thoughts on the program.
“I always had respect for Alabama football’s program,” Johnson told Touchdown Alabama. “The tradition, the standard of excellence and the way they develop talent, it’s unmatched. Even with the coaching transitions, the program still commands attention and sets the bar high every season.”
Johnson was able to show many of the aspects of his game that he feels are strengths while camping at Alabama during the summer.
“My man coverage, high confidence, getting physical at the line and my tackling,” Johnson said when asked what his strengths are.
