The Georgia Bulldogs are heading into the 2025 season with big goals and some fresh talent.
After finishing 11–3 last year and winning a dramatic SEC Championship game against Texas, their playoff run came to a halt with a tough Sugar Bowl loss to Notre Dame. The offseason brought major changes with starting quarterback Carson Beck gone after an elbow injury and a move to the transfer portal. No to mention that several other players left the program for various reasons. Still, Georgia isn't hitting the panic button. Thanks to top-tier recruiting and a stacked roster, the Dawgs are expected to stay competitive, especially on defense. The biggest question mark is at quarterback, but there's plenty of talent around to keep things rolling.
Just like any other year, this fall's schedule is no joke with huge games against Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Texas, and the season finale against rival Georgia Tech. It’s going to be a challenging but exciting year in Athens as Georgia looks to stay in the national title hunt.
