It’s the WCC Tournament Championship. Saint Mary’s won the first two games over the conference’s power program, and Gonzaga is looking to take back title over the Gaels.

Saint Mary’s won the conference championship last year, Gonzaga won the previous four. These two have owned the WCC title since 2008. The Bulldogs are going for their 22nd title, the Gaels are pushing for their fifth.

Why Gonzaga Will Win

The Bulldogs are on a roll winning eight of their last nine - the lone loss coming to Saint Mary’s, They shot well in the two losses but couldn’t do a thing from three. The offense has to power through this. Saint Mary’s can score, but it’s about that incredible scoring defense that keeps games low.

Open it up a little bit, try to get a three here and there in transition, and be a bit better at guarding the three. Saint Mary’s is beatable, but Gonzaga has to keep it under 70 points. But …
