Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen and his wife, actress Hailee Steinfeld, are navigating the demands of new parenthood with their characteristic energy and commitment. The couple recently welcomed their first child, a baby girl, marking a major milestone in their personal lives amid busy professional schedules.
The pair shared the joyful news that they had welcomed their daughter on April 2. Despite the very recent arrival, the high-profile duo made time for a significant personal obligation just one day later, prioritizing attendance at a close friend’s milestone celebration.
Few anticipated seeing the Oscar-nominated actress or the 2024 NFL MVP out in public so quickly after the birth. Nevertheless, they traveled to Southern California to join in the festivities for Seattle Seahawks quarterback Sam Darnold’s wedding to Katie Hoofnagle, held at the luxurious Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa on April 3.
The exact timing of their daughter’s arrival remains private. Steinfeld had been visibly pregnant at the Academy Awards on March 15, indicating the birth occurred sometime in the weeks that followed. At the wedding, the new mother radiated joy, appearing elegant in a striking black dress that highlighted her glowing post-partum presence.
Allen promptly returned to team responsibilities, heading back to Buffalo for the initial voluntary workouts on April 7. That same day, Steinfeld revealed a fresh collaboration with Ashley Luxe furniture. In a conversation with Architectural Digest conducted shortly before giving birth, she offered insights into their shared home life and family environment.
Steinfeld has also signaled her eagerness to resume her acting pursuits on the big screen. Building on the remarkable achievements of her recent film “Sinners,” she is poised to take on another major role that will unfold during the 2026 NFL season.
Disney made a significant announcement during its CinemaCon presentation on April 16, revealing that Steinfeld will star alongside Rashida Jones in the upcoming animated feature “Hexed,” as reported by Variety. The project promises an engaging story centered on family dynamics and hidden abilities.
The film’s narrative “follows a teenage oddball and her Type A mom, who discovers her weirdness is actually hidden magic, transporting them to a world where magic can run free.” Steinfeld will provide the voice for the teenage character Billie. Directed by Josie Trinidad and Jason Hand, “Hexed” is scheduled for theatrical release on November 25, 2026, just ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday.
With an established reputation in voice acting, Steinfeld brings considerable experience to the role. She is widely recognized for portraying Gwen Stacy across the animated “Spider-Man” films and for voicing Vi in the acclaimed series “Arcane.”
In addition to this animated project, Steinfeld has another live-action film currently in development. According to details shared by The Hollywood Reporter last summer, she will appear opposite Miles Teller in “Winter Games,” a production directed by Paul Downs Colaizzo, who co-wrote the screenplay alongside Patrick Cunnane.
“The story is set in the high-stakes arena of the Winter Olympic Games and, per the studio, centers on a perpetually overlooked skier and a self-sabotaging hockey legend that collide at their breaking points,” THR wrote. “Their unexpected connection threatens her chance for a medal and his shot at a comeback as they navigate romance and redemption in the Olympic Village.”
Fans have expressed considerable excitement over these new opportunities, especially as Steinfeld continues to expand her impressive body of work while embracing her role as a mother. The coming months promise to showcase how the couple balances their thriving careers with the joys and responsibilities of their growing family.
