The 2025 Minnesota Girls Basketball Tournament is March 12-15 and after a week of crowning section champions the brackets for the annual state tourney have been released.
Of last year's state champions—Goodhue, Providence Academy, Benilde-St. Margaret's, and Minnetonka—three are back and looking to repeat. Providence Academy is aiming for a fourth straight championship while Benilde has a chance to three-peat.
Let's look at the quarterfinal matchups that were unveiled Saturday morning.
March 12 (Williams Arena)
10 a.m. – #1 Maple Grove vs. #8 White Bear Lake
12 p.m. – #4 Lakeville North vs. #5 Brainerd
2 p.m. – #2 Eastview vs. #7 Anoka
4 p.m. – #3 Hopkins vs. #6 Chaska
The semifinals are March 13 at Williams Arena, and the state championship game will be March 15 at Williams Arena.
March 12 (Maturi Pavillion)
10 a.m. – #1 Benilde-St. Margaret's vs. #8 Stewartville
12 p.m. – #4 DeLaSalle vs. #5 Alexandria Area
2 p.m. – #2 Monticello vs. #7 Cretin-Derham Hall
