Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa LB set to announce decision

Zay Hall is set to announce a commitment decision on Friday. He will make his announcement around 5:20 p.m. CST.

Hall is a 2026 linebacker out of Hillcrest Tuscaloosa High School in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Most recruiting sites have him rated as a three-star recruit. He will choose between Alabama and Virginia Tech.

Both programs have hosted him for an official visit this month. The Tide hosted him last weekend after offering him a few weeks ago.

The 6-foot-2, approximately 230-pounder is projected to be an inside linebacker at the next level. He excels at sifting through traffic and seeking out ball carriers with the ability to play sideline to sideline.
