The Minnesota Twins are fighting for their playoff lives, and they are losing. Nobody is more to blame for their collapse than the Pohlad ownership group, which is now publicly headed by Joe Pohlad. But before Joe, it was his uncle Jim Pohlad, who acted as the public facing arm of the family for multiple decades. On Wednesday, the Star Tribune is reporting that Jim’s house was recently robbed. The alleged crime is believed to be one in a string of robberies that have taken place around upper-class Twin Cities neighborhoods, in recent months. Most notably, Minnesota Timberwolves guard Mike Conley’s house was hit a couple of weeks ago, At the time of the robbery, Mike was blowing the Gjallarhorn at U.S. Bank Stadium, before the week two Minnesota Vikings vs San Francisco 49ers game. According to police reports, there are 60-plus similar robberies in the Twin Cities area, that are currently being investigated. All of them seem to lead back to the same suspects.
