Canada qualified for this stage after leading Group C with a perfect score of 9 points, getting 13 goals, and keeping a clean sheet in all three group matches. The Canadians are the best team in the tournament and will face Costa Rica, a team they have already beaten in the group stage by a score of 3-0.
