Canada and El Salvador will make their debut in the 2024 edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. The two teams share the Group C with Paraguay and Costa Rica.

The Canadian team, No. 10 in the FIFA ranking, qualified for the tournament after winning the CONCACAF Olympic play-off last September 2023. They beat Jamaica 4-1.

El Salvador, on the other side, gained access to the tournament after winning the Qualification play-off against Guatemala, by a score of 3-1.
