After seeing her father, Hulk Hogan‘s body, Brooke Hogan said she is ruling out foul play. She spoke with TMZ Live after speaking with authorities.

Brooke Hogan previously raised questions around her father’s passing last month, particularly regarding a reported leukemia diagnosis. She later said she’d be willing to pay for an autopsy to help get more answers about the circumstances.

But after talking with police and seeing her father’s body in-person this week, Brooke Hogan said she didn’t see any indication of foul play. She also shared a message for fans, saying everything is “on the up and up.”

“I got to see that an autopsy was indeed performed, and that is what I came there to do,” she said. “And then, I also came to meet with the chief of police. They extended an invite to me because they wanted to show me bodycam footage, the 9-1-1- call because a lot of those things put the pieces together.”

TMZ previously reported Hulk Hogan’s death may have been due, in part, to medical malpractice. A police report, according to TMZ, showed an occupational therapist was at Hogan’s residence at the time he stopped breathing.

The therapist also said that during a recent operation, the surgeon “severed” Hogan’s phrenic nerve, according to TMZ. It’s not clear if the surgery was to repair his heart or neck.

Brooke Hogan addresses medical malpractice report

While there are questions about reported medical malpractice allegations, Brooke Hogan said she thinks that’s a separate issue. Based on her conversations with police, that doesn’t fall under their purview.

“There’s so much red tape,” Brooke Hogan said. “I think, from what I understand, when it becomes a medical malpractice situation, it’s still considered a natural death. If you die from a complication from surgery, it’s not like somebody went and stabbed you.

“It would fall under the medical malpractice case, and obviously, Sky can have her own autopsy and say, ‘Hey, this is indeed happened and I’m going to to sue the doctor.’ But that’s not really the police’s jurisdiction. They handle more suicide, murder. That’s when they really start looking into things like that.”

Hulk Hogan died last month at age 71 after medics were dispatched to his Clearwater, Fla., home. It was described by emergency operators as a “cardiac arrest.”

In addition to his stardom in the wrestling world, Hogan also made numerous appearances in films during his career. One of his most memorable roles was as “Thunderlips,” who was an opponent of Rocky Balboa in Rocky III.
