The Cleveland Cavaliers probably had their best era of basketball from 2014-18 when they were led by the Akron Hammer himself, LeBron James. Boasting one of the All-Time greats in LeBron, the Cavs started off with two other superstars, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love, to form one of the best teams in the league.

Not only that, the Cavs had a decent supporting cast of players with players like Tristan Thompson and Iman Shumpert, to name a few. While the Cavs in these five years went on to win their franchise's first NBA title and made it to four NBA Finals in a row, off the court, the team saw some of their players in a lot of off-the-court drama.

One of them was Tristan Thompson. Thompson, the starting center for the Cavs, was in a very public relationship with celebrity Khloe Kardashian. While his performances on the court never really made the headlines, he sure did with his relationship and all the drama surrounding the same.

During his time with the Cavs, Tristan was with Khloe, and the couple even had their first child, 'True', but things really got ugly when it was revealed that Thompson apparently cheated on Khloe while she was pregnant.

Thompson's former teammate Iman Shumpert recently revealed how the Cavs' team felt during the whole controversy.

“I just think that, we just all felt for Khloe,.... She’s cool, man. And I don’t know what they got going on. I’m sure they speak. They grown, you know what I’m saying? They get things right. They do right by their shorties. But, it’s just, man. It was sad. I remember feeling like that.”

While the couple did get back together in 2020, things even got messier for the center in 2021, with a paternity suit being filed against the 6'10" center. Things only went downhill for the now 31-year-old.

Later in 2022, it was confirmed that Thompson did cheat on Khloe as he confirmed that he fathered a child while dating Kardashian.

His NBA career, meanwhile, hasn't been that impressive of late as well. Thompson now finds himself in a Kings team that might be on its way to compete for a play-in spot at max. Given that his stock is at an all-time low, it is highly unlikely that we see the 31-year-old in a championship team again.
