It’s no secret that the Penn State football team needs multiple wide receivers to step up this fall. But what if one of the players that could have a major impact this fall and beyond is an incoming true freshman? One incoming Nittany Lion who immediately shoots to the top of that list from the 2024 recruiting class is WR Tyseer Denmark. The Pennsylvania native showed out at the PSFCA Big 33 Football Classic on Sunday evening where he took home MVP for his performance.

Penn State football WR signee dominates All-Star game, wins MVP

The Big 33 Football Classic is an All-Star type game where the best high school football players in Pennsylvania compete against the best that Maryland has to offer. Dubbed the “Super Bowl of High School Football,” a large portion of Sunday’s on-field success came from team Pennsylvania, specifically Penn State football signee Tyseer Denmark.

The Philadephia native put everyone on notice during the Big 33. The highlights continued to flow on social media during the event. Denmark not only shows that he has breakaway speed. But the 5-10 wide receiver isn’t afraid of making the contested catches.

Denmark accounted for 4 catches for 95 yards and 3 touchdowns during the All-Star event. This was enough for the future Penn State wide receiver to win Big 33 MVP.

Denmark to join Penn State this summer

Over the next few weeks, Tyseer Denmark will enroll at Penn State. As a true freshman wide receiver it will be challenging to make an immediate impact. However, after watching some of his highlights and what he put on display in the Big 33 Football Classic, the potential is there.

Denmark was a three-star prospect in the 2024 recruiting class. On3 ranked Denmark as the No. 11 player in Pennsylvania. A one-time Oregon commit who flipped to Penn State last August, the Nittany Lions now have a potential hidden gem in Tyseer Denmark.
