The Indiana Fever have dealt with constant struggles in head coach Stephanie White's first season back with the team.

White was looking to help the Fever advance in their WNBA title hopes behind a loaded roster with Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston, Kelsey Mitchell and Sophie Cunningham.

Clark has missed ample time in her second season in the league, forcing the Fever to make adjustments to the roster, especially in the second half of the season.

While she's played 13 games all year, the Fever are also missing three players who have suffered season-ending injuries: Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson and Aari McDonald.

As the Fever look to improve their roster, Indiana added Odyssey Sims on a 7-day contract.

On Sunday, Indiana announced that Sims has been signed to her third 7-day contract. This is the last 7-day contract that Sims is eligible for before Indiana has to make a long-term decision on the WNBA guard.

Odyssey Sims is one more veteran names in the WNBA, especially at the guard position. Before playing with the Indiana Fever, Sims also played with the Minnesota Lynx, Atlanta Dream, Los Angeles Sparks and Dallas Wings.

Throughout her first season with the Fever, Sims has posted 9.5 points, 2.6 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game.

Sims will help the Indiana Fever continue to fill in the backcourt while Caitlin Clark rehabs through her injury. Throughout her second season in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark has posted 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.
