Insider Confirms 3 Leaked Utah Hockey Club Logos Are Official

The potential logos for Utah Hockey Club’s future team name were leaked on social media Monday in a new development part of the franchise's quest to find a final nickname and mascot.

User "Zachawoolly" was the first to share a picture of three final designs presented by the Utah HC on X, and Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli later confirmed them as the real ones.

The designs reflect the three remaining name choices—Utah Mammoth, Utah Outlaws, and Utah Hockey Club.

Utah fans have been voting on their preferred name and logo at Delta Center home games, with the final round of in-arena voting concluding Tuesday when the team faces the Philadelphia Flyers.

"We're gonna do our very best," Utah Hockey Club owner Ryan Smith said ahead of the voting process regarding possible leaks. "We were able to do this with the Utah Jazz as we took the surveys throughout the stadium with all of the different jersey iterations, and none of those leaked."

The organization is expected to announce its official name and branding before the 2025–26 season but there is no exact date set for the announcement.

The name selection process initially included 20 options, which were narrowed to six before the final three were presented.

Originally, Utah Wasatch was among the finalists, but it was replaced by Outlaws after early survey results.

The franchise had also considered Utah Yeti as its preferred name but abandoned it due to trademark conflicts with the Texas-based YETI drinkware company.

Each of the three logo designs incorporates the team’s current color scheme of rock black, salt white, and mountain blue, which has been featured on Utah’s inaugural season jerseys.

The Utah Hockey Club logo, in what can be considered a savvy move made by the franchise, features a yeti face within a mountain backdrop, despite the name "Yeti" being dropped from consideration.
