Former Inter defender Lucio, a 2010 Treble winner with the Nerazzurri, is under constant observation in intensive care in a hospital in Brasilia following a domestic accident.

Hospital releases a statement after Lucio’s domestic accident

The hospital has already released a statement, reassuring that the ex-Brazil international is “stable, conscious, and under constant observation.”

Lucio played for Inter and Juventus in Serie A, winning a Serie A title, two Coppa Italia titles, one Champions League title, one Supercoppa title, and one FIFA Club World Cup with the Nerazzurri.

Many of his fellow Inter treble winners reunited in Milan yesterday to celebrate Massimo Moratti’s 80th birthday.

Lucio joined Juventus on a free transfer in the summer of 2012 but made only one appearance with the Bianconeri before joining Sao Paulo in December of the same year.

The former Brazilian star scored three goals in 97 appearances in Italy’s top flight and retired in 2019.
