This season has not been an easy one for the USC basketball team. The Trojans were expected to be one of the best teams in the Pac-12, but with just four games remaining in the regular season, they are in 11th place in the conference. Things haven’t gone to plan, and part of the reason USC has had so much trouble is all the obstacles that they have faced this season, such as injuries.

One injury that had a big effect on the USC basketball team was the hand injury that Isaiah Collier suffered. Collier had to miss about four weeks for the Trojans, and the team struggled while he was out. That is just one of the obstacles that the team has encountered this year.

“We’ve been hit with a lot of challenges and adversity so it’s just learning to overcome those challenges and it’s up to us at this point,” Collier said, according to an article from Yahoo Sports. “I haven’t really lost like this before so it’s a learning process for me and a learning process for all of us. It’s part of the game and it’s just all about how our team overcomes.”

USC basketball now has just a couple weeks left before the Pac-12 Tournament. With a healthy team, perhaps they can make some noise.
