NFL legend Tom Brady shocked YouTuber and Cristiano Ronaldo superfan IShowSpeed by giving him a signed 2002 Ronaldo rookie card during a trip to Brady’s house in Miami. The moment, streamed live through Speed’s channel, went viral on social media.

Brady and Speed have been connecting for over a year. The seven-time Super Bowl champion has appeared on Speed’s streams previously and expressed interest in working with Speed in the future possibly with Ronaldo as well.

Speed’s love for CR7 is a fundamental element of his persona online, as his streams are filled with clamoring, wild reactions, and his expanding collection of Ronaldo memorabilia.

On stream and handing over the card, Brady said: “You come to my house… I know he’s your guy.” “A rookie card. I know he’s your guy.” Speed replied: “I don’t even have this one… this one is like rare,” pointing out it’s from 2002 and could be worth a lot of money.

Speed immediately freaked out, saying that he didn’t even have that edition. Clips of the moment spread across highlight pages within minutes generating yet some more of Ronaldo content on Speed’s channels.

Collectors view the 2002–03 Panini “Mega Craques” Ronaldo #137 as the premier rookie card of that period. The value of high-quality examples has risen exponentially in the past few years. A PSA 10 graded example sold for $86,400 in 2024. A BGS 9.5 example sold for $36,000. Even working examples, like a PSA 5, have sold for $5,600+.
