Jack Osbourne has lost over 65 lbs in a span of three and a half years, getting into arguably his best shape. However, the online world didn’t receive his fitness transformation well.

The son of rock legend Ozzy approached his weight loss journey with intention, bringing the number down from 220 lbs to 155 lbs. All that without a crash diet or some fitness gimmick.

That transformation was built on a foundation of commitment and long-term changes, with Osbourne adopting sustainable lifestyle habits.

One such rigorous addition to his routine was intense jiu-jitsu training sessions, which he attended religiously. Besides combat sports, the British actor also cleaned his plate, swapping out processed foods for fresh vegetables and healthy proteins.

Another major part of his fitness transformation was his pursuit of sobriety. Osbourne decided to completely quit all the addictive substances, including alcohol, massively contributing to his overall health.

However, sharing this transformation somewhat backfired on him, sparking internet backlash and abusive, body-shaming comments.

Internet slams Osbourne’s recent 65 lbs weight loss

The internet did what it does best: drew conclusions without full context. This time, however, it was much uncalled for.

The entire fiasco began after the reality TV star posted a simple, wholesome Mother’s Day message, sharing a picture of himself with Sharon and Aree.

However, the audience quickly took notice of Osbourne’s physique. One user wrote: “What’s wrong with him? He looks sick.” Another comment read, “Now what happened to Jack? Looks so much older.”

Another wrote, “It is so sad to witness you, your mum and Kelly’s drastic weight loss. I hope you are all ok. You look so unwell….”

“Jack, what’s happening? ” asked another Instagram user, seemingly surprised at the weight loss.

A concerned fan asked, “Jack are you ok you lost a lot of weight?”

Another user, implying he has used some pharmaceutical help, urged him to stop.

“OMG stop whatever you are all taking.”
