University of Louisville track & field athlete Jayden Ulrich has been named the ACC Women’s Field Athlete of the Week, according to the conference office. This honor comes after Ulrich’s impressive performance at the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite.

Making her Louisville debut after transferring from Indiana, Ulrich secured fifth place in the women’s shot put event with a mark of 15.97m (52-4.75). This outstanding throw currently stands as the best in the ACC this season, highlighting Ulrich’s talent and potential.

The Louisville track & field squads will continue their season on Friday, Jan. 19 at the Bellarmine Open. This meet will take place at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, providing a home advantage for the Cardinals.
