J.J. McCarthy was Harbaugh’s quarterback when the head coach led the Michigan Wolverines team to their first college football championship in the playoffs era. So, of course, he is going to hype up his quarterback.

However, it is highly unlikely that teams will draft McCarthy over Williams, who is considered the best QB prospect since Andrew Luck. As for Harbaugh, he doesn’t have to worry about which quarterback his team should be looking into since they already have Justin Herbert, one of the best QBs in the league.

Jim Harbaugh wants to win multiple championships with Chargers

After firing Brandon Staley in the middle of the season, the Chargers roped in veteran leader Jim Harbaugh to replace him as their new head coach.

On Thursday, Harbaugh was introduced as their HC by the Los Angeles-based football team. During the introductory press conference, Harbaugh revealed that his goal is to bring multiple championships to the team.

This is Harbaugh’s second run in the NFL. He previously worked as the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers for a few years, but he couldn’t win a Super Bowl ring then. Now, he aims to deliver multiple championships to the city of Los Angeles.
