Porto FC defender João Mario is set to undergo medical tests with Juventus tomorrow, finalising a player-plus-cash swap deal involving Alberto Costa.
Juventus will welcome a new signing on Thursday as Porto right-back João Mario is set to undergo medical tests in Turin tomorrow.
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter confirm to me the figures behind the deal, first reported by A Bola.
João Mario will move to Turin from Porto in a player-plus-cash swap deal involving Alberto Costa, who will join the Portuguese club, returning to his native country after just seven months in Turin.
João Mario has been valued €10m, while Porto will pay €15m plus €1m add-ons for Alberto Costa.
The latter had moved to Turin in a €13.8m deal from Vitoria Guimaraes in the January transfer window.
Porto’s domestic rivals Sporting CP had been in talks with Juventus for Alberto Costa earlier this summer, but failed to reach an agreement with the Bianconeri.
