Kansas State’s 2026 class kept rolling strong Sunday afternoon with not one, but two key additions: three-star defensive back Garrick Dixon and versatile athlete Hannibal Carter Navies.

The Wildcats continue stacking talent across the field in Manhattan.

A standout at Fort Zumwalt West (MO), Garrick Dixon (6’0″, 175 lbs) officially committed to K‑State on the morning of June 15, citing the Wildcats’ defensive pedigree and clear development pathway. Rated a three-star and ranked No. 86 among DBs, Dixon chose Kansas State over offers from Iowa State, Cincinnati, Purdue, and others.

Joining Dixon is a dynamic athlete from Buford (GA), Hannibal Carter Navies. Though listed as a wide receiver and defensive back, Navies is an “athlete” in every sense. He’s got size at 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, paired with electric speed and multidimensional skills capable of fitting various roles.

Navies’ addition adds some serious versatility. He could line up in the slot, on the boundary, or just about anywhere in the secondary, offering defensive coordinator Joe Klanderman a chess piece with positional flexibility.

Carter Navies may not yet be a household name, but he brings the type of athletic upside that K-State has turned into on-field production time and time again. His size, speed, and athleticism give Kansas State a weapon on either side of the ball — the kind of player who can swing games in Big 12 play.

As he prepares for his senior season in Georgia, Navies will be one to watch closely.
