Kaulig Racing Team Information

Founded by successful businessman Matt Kaulig in 2016 as a NASCAR Xfinity Series operation, Kaulig Racing has quickly found success in the highest ranks of NASCAR and grown into a multi-faceted organization, growing into the NASCAR Cup Series.

Despite the organization’s relative newness, Kaulig Racing has already crossed over some major milestones at NASCAR’s top-level, collecting a pair of road course victories with veteran driver AJ Allmendinger – who has become engrained in the team’s identity.

Under the guise of Team President Chris Rice, the organization has been able to grow into a championship-contending team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, scoring 27 victories in the last nine seasons, and a solid effort in the NASCAR Cup Series.

Beginning in 2025, long-time motorsports executive Ty Norris will be employed by Kaulig Racing, with Norris serving as the Chief Business Officer, the same role he held within Trackhouse Racing since its inception.

For the first time since 2023, Kaulig will have a pair of full-time drivers behind the wheel of its NASCAR Cup Series entries. Ty Dillon, grandson of Richard Childress, will be elevated from his part-time role with the team last season into a full-time role, driving the No. 10 Chevrolet. Meanwhile, AJ Allmendinger will return to full-time competition in the NASCAR Cup Series in 2025, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet.
