Kawhi Leonard showed flashes of his MVP self with all the chips on the table by going off against the Mavericks in both Game 6 and Game 7, helping the Clippers advance, but he was humble enough to shout out an emerging superstar after it was all said and done.

Luka Doncic dropped 46 points on 17-of-30 shooting in the 126-111 loss; showing the world he could be the next face of the NBA, with 36-year-old LeBron James finally showing signs of wear-and-tear, having suffered a first-round playoff exit for the first time in his career.

As for Kawhi, he was extremely efficient, turning in a 10-of-15 shooting performance, for 28 points. But he didn’t talk himself up after the big Game 7 win. Instead, he had some high praise for Doncic.

Gotta love how Leonard mentioned his counterpart at the podium, rather than reminding the world how he took over in Games 6 and 7, with the series on the line.
