The Arizona Wildcats have added three-star offensive lineman Khalil Sanogo from Mansfield Legacy High School to their 2026 recruiting class.

Sanogo, standing 6‑5 and tipping the scales at around 295 pounds, officially committed to Arizona on July 6 over finalists that included North Carolina, UNLV, and Cal.

Sanogo recently visited Tucson on June 30, making a positive impression on coaches and staff with his physicality in the weight room and on the practice field. He earned All-District honors at High School Region 6A and maintains a 3.8 GPA, signaling toughness and discipline both on the field and in the classroom.

As a versatile blocker capable of playing tackle or inside, Sanogo checks important boxes for offensive line coach Josh Oglesby‘s program. He joins a developing line group that includes fellow 2026 commitments and adds local depth to a unit needing reinforcement in the Big 12 era.

Rivals listed Arizona as the projected favorite at nearly 90 percent, underscoring strong recruiting traction in the Texas footprint. For Sanogo, this choice brings him into a program on the rise under coach Brent Brennan, where an early opportunity to compete for starting roles awaits.

The addition of Sanogo keeps Arizona’s O-line momentum rolling by blending size, production, and reliability in its offensive front. With Sanogo’s commitment, the Wildcats reach 17 confirmed pledges in the 2026 cycle and reinforce a position group essential to both run and pass schemes.

If Sanogo develops as anticipated, his presence could help anchor Arizona’s line in 2027. With spring practice and redshirt potential ahead, he represents a key piece in Arizona’s effort to build deeper trenches for upcoming conference challenges.
