She added that the entire situation caught her off guard and highlighted how realistic this edited image has become.

“I haven’t even gone to a Lakers game since,” Kardashian said, laughing off the rumor.

The fake screenshot originated from the parody account NBACentel, which frequently creates doctored NBA social media posts.

Many fans initially believed the exchange was authentic before Kardashian clarified the truth, prompting renewed conversations about the impact of misinformation.

Luka Doncic, who has not commented publicly, continues to focus on his strong campaign with the Lakers.

Kardashian said she hopes the situation serves as a warning about the growing spread of false content online. “It’s scary because people believe it,” she said. “Now, if something like that happens again, I double-check before I even react.”
