ESPN's Kirk Herbstreit is by far one of the busiest talents in the football space as he's an analyst for "College GameDay" while also calling games for ABC and Amazon Prime's "Thursday Night Football."
After a stellar playing career at Ohio State, Herbstreit joined ESPN's beloved college football pregame show in 1996, and began being a part of ESPN's broadcast for games as a sideline reporter the year prior. Fast-forward to now, if Herbstreit is calling the game of your favorite team, you know it means that it is viewed as a marquee matchup. With this week being conference championship week, Herbstreit's assignment has been revealed.
There are a handful of teams across the country that will fight to solidify their spots in the College Football Playoff, or in the case of a lucky few, work their way into earning a first-round bye. While the Big Ten Championship between No. 2 Indiana (12-0) and No. 1 1 Ohio State (12-0) is the lone Power 4 title game that isn't a rematch, many fans have their eyes on the SEC Championship Game between No. 4 Georgia (11-1) and No. 10 Alabama (10-2).
The rematch of the Sept. 27 clash that saw Alabama win 24-21 will have Herbstreit on the call as revealed on Monday.

For Alabama, a win will lock them in as a playoff team, but a loss would drop them to 10-3 on the season, and could very well end their playoff hopes.
Saturday's game kicks at 4:00 p.m. ET and will air on ABC.
