When the LA Lakers faced the Indiana Pacers on 26th March, 2026, the buzz wasn’t just about the game; it was about Caitlin Clark, who showed up courtside as a credentialed photographer, snapping stunning shots of LeBron James.
Clark traded her Indiana Fever jersey for a photographer’s vest and a professional camera, taking some remarkable shots of the game. Taking to her socials, she uploaded several snapshots of LeBron James with a caption that read, “The KING… Shot by ME.”
In fact, Clark’s interest in photography started during a difficult WNBA season in 2025. Due to a persistent groin injury and bone bruise, the former Rookie of the Year missed all but 13 games.

During her bench time, she documented her teammates and the league from a different angle. She was able to maintain her connection to the game she has traditionally dominated from the perimeter by using this creative outlet as a mental break during her recovery.
Her actions led to her friend, Bri Lewerke, who is also a professional photographer, to post, “Caitlin learning in real time the struggle of taking a close-up photo when you’re using a 70-200 lens.” In response, Clark replied, “Don’t doubt me. Wait till u see the product.”
Well, Clark certainly didn’t disappoint with her photography skills, and guess what, even ‘The King’ himself gave a nod to her.
Not only the internet, but even James was surprised by how amazing her photographs were. He took to his Instagram to repost her post on his story with the caption “
.”
James has been a vocal supporter of Clark’s career, often praising her long-range shooting and basketball IQ. The game itself featured an amazing performance from Luka Dončić, who again led the team to a 130-137 victory.
‘The King’ spent 34 minutes on the court scoring 23 points. That being said, what are your thoughts on Clark’s photography skills?
