As a Baltimore native, Olympic legend Michael Phelps is a Baltimore Ravens fan. So when a member of the team called on him for help, he answered.
Ravens star Marlon Humphrey along with Ronnie Stanley, Kyle Hamilton and Charlie Kolar recently made an "impassioned plea" with Phelps to teach them how to swim. They then invited Phelps to Ravens training camp and their aquatic center to give them lessons.
"Mr. Phelps, we have a problem. Did you know that one in three Ravens cannot swim? We have a solution for you, sir. Come to Ravens training camp and this beautiful aquatic center and teach us how to swim," they said.

Phelps was more than happy to answer the call.
"I got yall!!! Let’s do it!!" Phelps proudly responded on Instagram.
The Ravens couldn't have chosen a better person to teach them. Phelps is the most decorated Olympian in history, boasting 28 Olympic medals, 23 of which are gold.
He has won every accolade for swimming out there and either broke or holds the world record in nearly every type of race. To this day, he still holds dozens of world records for his swimming prowess.
Suffice it to say, there isn't a better person to learn from on planet earth than Michael Phelps.
As for the Ravens, there are plenty of benefits to getting swimming lessons even if it's not necessarily an NFL exercise. It ranks among the best forms of exercise out there and is great for building cardio, core strength and a slew of other health benefits.
Baltimore could use with a little boost after coming close but coming up short against the Buffalo Bills in the AFC playoffs this past season.
If the Ravens can be even a little bit better in 2025, the sky is the limit on what they can achieve.
