Let's March to the bank with a low-risk, high-reward NHL parlay

Don't get us wrong, we love basketball. We know the NCAA Tournament resumes with Sweet 16 action on Thursday and that the NBA Playoffs are only a few weeks away, but when a money-making opportunity presents itself, you have to be ready to pounce. Luckily for you, we have a low-risk, high-reward parlay on the NHL.

And it starts with the Avalanche (+1 goal) against the Penguins.

We're super confident Colorado beats Pittsburgh on Wednesday, but remember, we said low risk. So, we're going to play it safe and take them to lose by no more than a goal.

And that shouldn't be much of a problem for the Avalanche considering the defending champs have won six straight and seven of eight. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh has lost four straight and has been outscored, 18-7, during its skid.

As for the final leg of our parlay, we're taking the over of 5.5 goals between the Arizona Coyotes and Edmonton Oilers.

This is definitely the riskiest leg of our parlay, but still worth including.

Not only are the Oilers the top-scoring team in the NHL and the best team in the league against the over, but they've also covered the over of 5.5 goals in back-to-back games and four of their last five. And despite playing on Tuesday, Phoenix is also above .500 against the over and has covered the over of 5.5 goals in seven of its last 11 games.

But the main reason we see this game resulting in at least six goals? Because of what happened the last time these two teams played. They combined for 10.

We don't see this game reaching double digits again, but we wouldn't be surprised if it gets up to eight or nine. So, trust us, and include these legs in your parlay on Wednesday night.

The Parlay: Arizona Coyotes/Edmonton Oilers (over 5.5 goals) and Pittsburgh Penguins/Colorado Avalanche (+1 goal) (-125 odds via Barstool)
