Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas delighted with senior matchday chance

Liverpool youngster Lewis Koumas had one of the best weekends of his life.

The talented youth product was a part of the club's Premier League squad at the weekend.

The 18-year-old forward was part of the matchday group for the 3-1 win against Burnley in the Premier League.

While he did not get on the field, he did go on to score twice in a 3-1 win over the U21s against Stoke City.

Koumas told Liverpoolfc.com: "It was a good experience and it was nice to be a part of it.

"I trained the day before and then to be included on the bench, especially the Premier League at Anfield, a very historical place, it means quite a lot to me.

"I've just got to keep developing, keep training well and stay happy and hopefully get another opportunity."
