Add two more targets to the Louisville men's basketball program's array of targets in the Class of 2026.

Twin brothers Adonis and Darius Ratliff, the sons of former NBA All-Star Theo Ratliff, are the latest to receive scholarship offers from the Cardinals, they announced Wednesday on social media.

The twin brothers are both regarded as four-star prospects in the Class of 2026. Darius is the higher-ranked of the two, coming in as the No. 9 power forward in the class and the No. 45 prospect overall, per the 247Sports Composite. Adonis isn't far behind, as he comes in as the No. 17 power forward and the 78th-ranked recruit nationally.

The duo for White Plains (N.Y.) Archbishop Stepinac put together very good junior campaigns. The 6-foot-11, 195-pound Darius averaged 9.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 2.6 blocks, while the 6-foot-11, 190-pound Adonis put up 12.3 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game. They helped the Crusaders go 26-4, winning the CHSAA AA state championship, and ending the year as the No. 24 high school team in the nation.

So far, Louisville has offered 23 prospects in the Class of 2026, but have yet to land a commitment. In the more immediate 2025 cycle, they have commitments from five-star point guard Mikel Brown Jr. and four-star German forward Sananda Fru.

Steelers' Kenneth Gainwell Sends A New Eye-Opening Cryptic Message

Steelers' Kenneth Gainwell Sends A New Eye-Opening Cryptic Message

The Pittsburgh Steelers have reshaped their running back room for the 2025 NFL season. With Najee Harris leaving in free agency and Cordarrelle Patterson released, Jaylen Warren is the lone returning back from 2024. Warren has totaled nearly 1,300 rushing yards over the past two years and is widely expected to assume the RB1 role following Harris’ departure. Competition is emerging however, as several newcomers are making strong cases for the starting job, and one running back recently sparked speculation with a cryptic post to Steelers fans on X. The Steelers signed Kenneth Gainwell to a one-year deal worth $1.79 million in March. Gainwell is entering his fifth year in the NFL out of Memphis, spending his first four seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles backing up Miles Sanders, De'Andre Swift, and Saquon Barkley. Gainwell has always been a serviceable backup and third-down weapon, but he wants to be more than that in Pittsburgh. Gainwell took to X on Friday morning when rumors were conveniently swirling about who will be the Steelers' RB1 when they face the New York Jets in two weeks. "They gone find out real soon!!" Gainwell said via X. It's important to remember that Gainwell could be referring to many things here. The Steelers' running game has showed promise this offseason, but many pundits would argue there's still plenty of room for improvement. Gainwell could simply be referring to the room as a whole taking the league by storm in 2025. However, it would be no surprise if he were referring to himself as being the player to look out for in the Steel City. He has shown his capability of being an impact player so far in his NFL career and has a competitive spirit. Gainwell has rushed for 1,185 yards with 12 touchdowns in his career, to go along with 102 receptions for 721 yards. During his four seasons with the Eagles, Gainwell carved out a reputation as a reliable dual-threat option. Though often used in a rotational role, Gainwell proved that he was capable of producing in high-leverage moments. Steelers fans might recall the nasty spin-move that he put on Donte Jackson during Pittsburgh's 27-13 loss at Philadelphia last December. So is Gainwell now a candidate for the Steelers' starting running back spot in 2025, that's the real question. With recent rumors swirling of Warren being in danger getting benched due to ball security issues, the idea of someone else leading the Steelers' running back room doesn't seem so unrealistic. Warren has seven fumbles in his career so far, including four in 2023 alone. In the Steelers' recent preseason win over the Panthers, Warren put the ball on the ground during Pittsburgh's opening drive. Warren might be the most talented running back that the Steelers currently have, but with turnovers being a potential issue, it might not be a terrible idea to turn elsewhere to lead the way. Even if Warren does get benched however, does Gainwell take his place? The Steelers spent a third-round draft pick on Kaleb Johnson in April, and the expectations for him are sky high. Johnson rushed for 2,779 yards in three years at Iowa, and he did show some promise during the preseason, rushing for 94 yards on 23 carries. One area of uncertainty with Johnson's game is his pass protection abilities, simply due to the fact that Iowa did not throw the ball much while Johnson was there. Pass protection is an area where Gainwell could separate himself from Johnson in terms of competition. It will be key for the Steelers to protect four-time NFL MVP Aaron Rodgers in 2025. With some uncertainty on the offensive line, the Steelers' running backs will need to be helpful in the pass protection game. Durability will also play a factor. Gainwell has remained relatively healthy throughout his career, only missing one game due to injury so far. Steelers' Gainwell Brings Experience And Success To Pittsburgh Along with pass protection and durability, Gainwell brings experience and success. The Eagles made it to two Super Bowls during Gainwell's tenure, winning one last season. The Steelers are looking to replicate the playoff success that Gainwell experienced in Philadelphia, and he could potentially help them reach that threshold.

Browns have major injury concern on offense after starter exits game

The Cleveland Browns have a big concern on Saturday following an injury to a key part of the offensive line. The Browns played their starters against the Los Angeles Rams as a tune-up before the regular season. Per the NFL's website, center Ethan Pocic was ruled out of Saturday's game against the Rams when he suffered a knee injury. Via the NFL: "C Ethan Pocic suffered a knee injury against Los Angeles and will not return to the game. Pocic played eight snaps with starting quarterback Joe Flacco before exiting with his injury. Pocic was injured on a third-and-9 play in the first quarter when Rams defensive tackle Desjuan Johnson ran into his leg while he was engaged in a block on linebacker Brennan Jackson." Pocic's injury is a worry for the Browns ahead of their Week 1 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 7. The 2017 second-round pick by the Seattle Seahawks is a leader on Cleveland's offensive line. He's been with the Browns since 2022. Pocic has appeared in 101 games and started in 84 during his first eight years in the league. The upcoming season is important for the 30-year-old, as he's in the final year of the three-year, $18 million deal he signed in 2023. When Pocic came out of the game, the Browns inserted Luke Wypler in at center. The 2023 sixth-round pick has played in just five games in his career and has made one start. Wypler missed all of 2024 with an ankle injury that required surgery.

Kevin O'Connell bids farewell to Harrison Phillips, gives injury updates

Kevin O'Connell opened his press conference after Friday night's preseason finale in Tennessee by discussing the difficulty of trading away Harrison Phillips, a team captain who had started every single game for Minnesota over the past three seasons. "Did want to start out just talking about Harrison Phillips for a quick second," he said. "Obviously, a tough move to make considering just how impactful he's been to the Minnesota Vikings and our organization, on and off the field. First free agent we signed when Kwesi and I got here, and he was the first one we signed for a reason. The type of man he is, the type of teammate, the type of leader. "Moves like that are not made without a lot of thought. I got a chance to spend a lot of good time with Harrison, and I also had a chance to talk to (Aaron Glenn) and (Darren Mougey) in New York about the type of player they were getting. I know he'll have the same impact there, in a new regime there. As they build their culture up, Harrison Phillips will be great for it." The Vikings clearly felt Phillips was expendable due to the additions of Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave, as well as the progress shown by a wave of young defensive tackles on their roster. But to deal away an impact starter so close to the start of the season comes with some risk. Phillips' departure also creates a void of leadership, although O'Connell doesn't sound too concerned on that front. "The thing that you have to understand, in the (DT) room, acquiring veteran presences like JA and Grave, they've really been immediate impact players on and off the field," he said. "Guys that have sustained it and done it at a high level for a really long time. That doesn't go into the hard decision like that, as far as the leadership goes, but you do know that we've got some ascending players on our roster, offensively and defensively, that are ready to assume that void. We've gotta make sure we're on top of that because of his impact." Injury updates O'Connell also gave some updates on a few young players who got banged up in Friday's game. OLB Tyler Batty (right knee) will be evaluated via MRI. RB Zavier Scott (right ankle) had an early 23-yard run but then left the field limping on one of his next carries. DT Elijah Williams (right hamstring) is a candidate to make the roster in the wake of the Phillips trade, but he could also potentially begin the year on IR (designated to return) if he has a hamstring strain. All three of those players have impressed over the course of training camp. Roster cutdown day is Tuesday, which will mean lots of difficult choices for the Vikings as they go from 90 players down to 53. More Vikings coverage

Super Troopers 3 Rounds Up Bold New Cast as Production Gears Up

Super Troopers 3: Winter Soldiers is officially rolling into production this August, bringing back the cult-favorite comedy franchise that first won over audiences in 2001. Fans of Broken Lizard’s offbeat humor can rejoice, Jay Chandrasekhar, Kevin Heffernan, Steve Lemme, Paul Soter, and Erik Stolhanske are all back as the delightfully chaotic Vermont State Troopers. Chandrasekhar, who directed the first two installments, is once again steering the ship as both director and co-writer, ensuring the third chapter retains the sharp, anarchic spirit that made the series a cult phenomenon. Super Troopers 3: From Cult Classic to Comedy Legacy The franchise began with Super Troopers in 2001, a low-budget indie comedy that grew into a beloved sleeper hit. The 2018 sequel, Super Troopers 2, funded largely through crowdfunding, proved the appetite was still there, grossing over $30 million worldwide. That success cemented Broken Lizard’s ability to blend slapstick chaos with sly, clever nonsense that still resonates with audiences nearly two decades later. Now, with Super Troopers 3: Winter Soldiers, the troupe is ready to push the absurdity even further. A Bold New Cast Joins the Mayhem This time around, the core cast won’t be riding solo. Super Troopers 3 is adding new comedic energy to the mix with several fresh faces: Nat Faxon (The Descendants, Oscar-winner) as Captain Todd Markowski Chace Crawford (The Boys) as Baker Buchanan Andrew Dismukes (Saturday Night Live) as Coy Burns Fan favorites are also back: Brian Cox returns as the ever-gruff Captain John O’Hagan, while Marisa Coughlan reprises her role as Ursula Hanson. The expanded lineup signals plenty of fresh dynamics and new comedic beats that promise to keep both longtime fans and newcomers laughing. Searchlight Pictures and Broken Lizard Team Up Again Super Troopers 3 is being produced with Searchlight Pictures, a frequent partner of Broken Lizard. Searchlight’s president, Matthew Greenfield, praised the franchise for its unique charm, saying the troopers “make the ridiculous feel natural” while spreading “joy and laughter wherever they go.” Chandrasekhar added his flair, declaring: “It’s mustache-growing time!”—a line bound to ignite excitement among fans who’ve long associated the series with its iconic facial hair and mischief. What to Expect from Winter Soldiers While official plot details are being kept under wraps, the subtitle Winter Soldiers suggests a frosty new setting, likely featuring snowbound highways, icy antics, and the troopers’ trademark brand of irreverent comedy. If history is any indication, expect plenty of inside jokes, absurd traffic stops, and unpredictable scenarios that double down on Broken Lizard’s anarchic formula. Looking Ahead Though no release date has been confirmed, Super Troopers 3 is expected to hit theaters in 2026. With audiences increasingly hungry for theatrical comedy, the timing couldn’t be better. The return of the Vermont State Troopers promises not only nostalgia for longtime fans but also fresh laughs for a new generation. After more than 20 years, Super Troopers remains a benchmark for how cult comedies can thrive. And with this latest installment, the franchise looks primed to continue its legacy, blending absurdity, wit, and mustached mischief for years to come.
