The LSU Tigers made a huge addition to their 2026 class on Monday morning when they gained a commitment from four-star CB, Havon Finney Jr.
Finney Jr. becomes the 10th commit in the Tigers' 2026 class, which ranks No. 1 in the nation according to On3's Industry Rankings.
Havon Finney Jr. is the 55th ranked recruit and 7th ranked cornerback in the 2026 class according to On3's Industry Rankings. He stands at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds and played his high school ball at Sierra Canyon in California, which is where Bronny James played basketball.
Finney received a ton of attention from schools across the country, holding offers from the Georgia Bulldogs, Michigan Wolverines, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Tennessee Volunteers and others before picking the LSU Tigers over the Oregon Ducks and USC Trojans.
Finney becomes the third defensive back to commit the Tigers in 2026, joining Aiden Hall and Dylan Purter. He's the only true cornerback, though, with the other two listed as safeties.
Corey Raymond has been red hot on the recruiting trail since returning to LSU. Just last year, he swayed five-star DJ Pickett to leave Florida and come to LSU despite a ton of interest from other schools. Now, he's landed another out of stater to the mix.
LSU's 2026 class is shaping up to be an impressive one. If they can hold onto all these guys, they have a real shot at ending the year with the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation.
