Major WWE, Saudi Arabia News Emerges on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia has been making some serious moves in the world of sports lately, and if you’ve been paying attention, you know combat sports are right at the center of it all. The WWE and UFC have both set up shop there more than once, hosting blockbuster events that draw fans from around the globe.

But if you thought this was just a passing trend, think again. The WWE’s latest move in the kingdom shows that Saudi Arabia isn’t just dipping its toes in the water. It’s ready to make a long-term splash in the fight game.

WWE's next big show in Saudi Arabia is already locked in: Royal Rumble 2026 will bring the action back to Riyadh in January. According to Fightful, planning for the event kicks off in just a few weeks.

That’s not all fans in the Kingdom can look forward to. WWE is reportedly lining up two more Premium Live Events there next year: one in May and another in November.

The November date has people talking since it’s so close to Survivor Series, which traditionally lands around Thanksgiving. Word is, though, that the Saudi event won’t be Survivor Series — unless WWE decides to move Survivor Series away from its usual holiday weekend slot, which seems unlikely.

No official dates or venues have been confirmed yet for the extra shows, but one thing’s for sure: Saudi Arabia is becoming a major stop on WWE’s global tour, and fans can expect some big-time action heading their way in 2026.
