Man City Unwilling to Meet €50M Demand From PSG for Man Utd-Linked Player

Journalist Alfredo Pedullà reported that Donnarumma’s €50 million price tag is reportedly higher than Manchester City’s willing to pay, but formal talks with PSG over the goalkeeper are ongoing.

In his latest column for CaughtOffside, Pedullà revealed the latest regarding Manchester City’s interest in Gianluigi Donnarumma. Moreover, Pedullà notes that manager Pep Guardiola has his heart set on the Italian, whether he gets him this summer or as a free agent next year.

“Guardiola wants Donnarumma even if it means waiting to get him on a free transfer, moving before the competitors,” Pedullà wrote. “In these last two weeks of the summer transfer window, the goal is to find a solution that benefits both sides, including PSG, who would save on his huge wages, knowing that in just a few months, they’d earn nothing from a free transfer.”
