Las Vegas Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby has become nearly a household name in recent years. Outside of his prowess on the football field rushing the passer and tackling running backs in the backfield, he has grown his personal brand and developed relationships with some of the most prominent people in sports.

He is a consistent attendee at UFC events due to his being close with Dana White, and he has a established friendship with Los Angeles Clippers star James Harden. Crosby is also signed with Jordan Brand, which boosts his popularity and notoriety in the world of NBA basketball.

On Monday night, the Boston Celtics were trailing the New York Knicks late in the fourth quarter of Game 4 in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. With the game hanging in the balance, Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum suffered a non-contact lower leg injury.

Many have assumed that Tatum tore his achilles, even though there have been no official reports yet. Crosby sent a message to the star player after this devastating injury.

"Prayers Up To @jaytatum0 ," Crosby wrote.

Injuries are a part of sports, but not a good part. Crosby can attest to this better than anyone, as he missed five games last season for the first time in his NFL career. Hopefully Tatum avoided a serious injury and Crosby can stay healthy for the Silver and Black himself this season.
