The Miami Hurricanes are working hard to fill some of the holes that are left in the defense. That starts with trying to flip the best defensive tackle in the country, James Johnson.
Johnson is now set to visit the Canes with numerous other recruits who will be in attendance for the matchup against No. 6 Notre Dame.
Johnson has said that Miami has been "heavy on his mind" as Cristobal continues to turn up the heat ahead of national signing day in November.

The Hurricanes currently sit on the outside of the top 10 of the 2026 class. As the No. 11-ranked class according to Rivals ratings, they are still the top ACC class in the country. Clemson sits at No. 14, Florida State No. 15, North Carolina No. 18, and SMU No. 22.
