The Miami Hurricanes continue to add more defensive players from the 2026 class as they land Cortez Redding in their latest recruiting efforts.
Redding is a four-star recruit and ranked the No. 21 safety in the country according to 247sports. Now the Hurricanes have more secondary depth for the future of the program.

According to Maxprep, the junior totaled 118 tackles, six coming for a loss, with three interceptions, one returned for a touchdown, with ten passes defended. He also joins high school teammate Jontavius Wyman, who committed to the Canes earlier in the spring as he helped with some of the recruiting process.
