This will come as a shock for many Hurricanes fans who keep up with recruiting, as the Canes have not been recruiting the talented tight end. They just landed two in the previous year's class, and all signs point to Fryzel landing with Notre Dame. The three-star talent has had his eye on the Hurricanes for some time, but the Canes are still looking for more defensive talent in this class.
They are also looking for more lengthy receivers in this class as well. They are on the precipice of landing their 14th commit of this class, but there are still more talented players out and about.
