Conrad Harder remains a solid transfer target for Milan before the close of the summer transfer window, and as reported on Saturday, the Rossoneri have already agreed to meet the selling club’s €27m valuation for the 20-year-old.

Discussions over a deal for Harder are underway and talks over the payment structure for the deal are still ongoing.

The Rossoneri are also discussing one important aspect that shouldn’t be overlooked: the financial agreements on the player’s side of the deal.

A final decision from Milan is still awaited, Football Italia understands.

Milan still searching for new strikers after Harder bid

The one-time Denmark international had, until a few days ago, been close to joining Rennes in Ligue 1, prior to Milan’s last-minute insertion.

Football Italia understands that Milan are still on the lookout for two new strikers before the close of the summer transfer window.

The Rossoneri had been looking at a potential deal for Bayer Leverkusen’s Victor Boniface, and had even brought the Nigeria international over to Italy for extensive medical checks, but still have concerns over the player’s injury record, which makes a deal unlikely.

Boniface is set to return to Germany, and once that happens, the deal will be considered definitively off , according to Leverkusen director Simon Rolfes
