Robbinsdale Cooper linebacker Emmanuel Karmo announced on social media Friday that he's committing to Minnesota.
He narrowed down his top-seven schools earlier this week, all of which were in the Big Ten: Oregon, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Penn State, Ohio State and Southern California.
I appreciate all the schools that have recruited me through this process. It’s been an amazing process for sure but with that said, I have made my decision. @77williehoward @TPatt17 @Coach_DeBo46 @Coach_Fleck @AllenTrieu #RTB #AGTG pic.twitter.com/59GfaSsvFH

Karmo also fielded a host of offers from other Division I programs.
It'll be the second straight year the Gophers have kept the top-ranked recruit in the state at home.
Koi Perich, the top-ranked recruit in Minnesota's 2024 class, signed with the Gophers this year on national signing day despite a last-ditch recruiting effort from Ohio State.
