University of Missouri junior Anthony Robinson II is expected to be one of the best returning guards in the Southeastern Conference this season. This week, he's getting a once-in-a-lifetime chance to learn from one of the best to ever play the position.

Robinson II was one of 12 players nationally to earn an invite to the Chris Paul Elite Guard Camp it was announced on Monday.

Led by the 20-year NBA veteran, Robinson and the others will be put through an intense three-day training camp from Las Vegas with Paul overseeing each session. The camp, which runs from Tuesday, July 29 through Thursday, July 31, will tutor players on everything from "skill development to film breakdown to life skills," hoping to prepare them to play at the highest level.

A three-star out of Florida State University School (Tallahassee, FL), Robinson was part of Missouri's 2023 recruiting class. As a freshman, the 6-foot-3, 180-pound product saw action in 31 games, averaging 3.9 points in 13.5 minutes.

Last season, Robinson started 31 of 33 games and averaged 9.0 points, 3.1 rebounds and 3.5 assists per contest. His best performance came on December 3, when he dropped a career-high 29 points in an SEC/ACC Challenge game against California. He also finished the season with 67 steals - second in the SEC behind Mississippi State's Cameron Matthews - and was the only underclassmen named to the 2024-'25 SEC All-Defensive Team.

Former Mizzou guard Tony Perkins was invited to attend the exclusive camp last season. Previous attendees include the Golden State Warriors' Stephon Curry, the Memphis Grizzlies' Ja Morant and Denver Nuggets' Jamal Murray.

Among the players joining Robinson this week are Iowa Hawkeyes guard Bennett Stirtz and a pair of Purdue Boilermakers, Braden Smith and Omar Mayer.
