Congratulations to 'Climbing The Seven Summits' ("CTSS") mountaineering guide company on their success today on Mt. Everest! Eight days after 26 climbers from their 'Western Guided' team summited the highest mountain in the world, their '1:1 Program' matched this achievement with 19 climbers attaining the summit. Further, every team member made the summit - a 100% success rate.
The above video, by CTSS, is of Tendi Sherpa on the summit of Mt. Everest for the 14th time! Mt. Everest is a very special place, and sacred to the Sherpas and all Nepali people. Here are Tendi Sherpa's thoughts:
“It’s always a special moment to stand on the top of the world. As you may know that we Sherpas and Nepali believe Mount Everest as a goddess Mother Earth specially known as Miyo Langsam. Each time we summit we pray the mountain deity and thank for her blessings, and we honor our country by flying our National flag! I dedicate this summit to my two beautiful daughters at home whom I miss so much and for my whole family.” (From the 'Climbing The Seven Summits' website.)
100+ Summits. This team is likely the most experienced team to have climbed Mt. Everest. Combined, these climbers account for over 100 summits on the world's highest peak!
