Manchester United are working to finalise Rasmus Hojlund’s transfer from Manchester United today, reports Sky Sport Italia.

Napoli are close to reaching a full agreement for Manchester United striker Hojlund and hope to finalise the deal today, reports Sky Sport expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Napoli want to finalise Hojlund transfer today

The Partenopei need a new centre-forward as Romelu Lukaku suffered a serious thigh injury, which will force him to the sidelines for more than three months.

As reported by Football Italia over the last few weeks, Hojlund has always been the main Napoli target to replace Lukaku, and the Partenopei are now close to signing the ex-Atalanta star.

Napoli are expected to secure the striker’s services on an initial loan deal with an obligation to buy for €45m.

Hojlund already scored nine Serie A goals

Gazzetta reported on Tuesday morning that Napoli’s obligation to buy is tied to their Champions League qualification this season.

A former Atalanta striker, Hojlund scored nine goals in 32 Serie A games in his first and only season in Italy in 2022-23.
