Former Rivals.com recruiting analyst Mike Farrell, now of MikeFarrellSports.com, made a bold prediction this week for Florida Gators head coach Billy Napier in 2024.

Farrell doesn't think Napier will make it past 2024 as the Gators' head coach.

From MikeFarrellSports.com: Florida fans and boosters held on to the notion that Florida had a top five class coming in as they overlooked two losing seasons. But with the class falling apart and a vicious 2024 schedule there is no way Billy Napier gets out of the season as head coach. His final five games — Georgia, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss and Florida State. Not good.

This will likely be a popular offseason take. Napier is 11-14 through his first two seasons as Florida's head coach and the Gators have an incredibly tough schedule in 2024.

Additionally, Napier's recruiting efforts haven't been up to Florida's typical standards.

Dan Mullen, Napier's predecessor, was fired after going 34-15 in four seasons. It's hard to see the Gators having much patience with Napier if he can't quickly turn things around in 2024.
