Former Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore dominated multiple news cycles after losing his job and getting arrested shortly after.
Officers recorded the moment he was taken into custody via bodycam, and the footage has surfaced online three months later.
TMZ Sports has obtained said footage, sharing it on Friday.
The video, which runs over three minutes, shows officers approaching a black SUV in a church parking lot on December 10.
They ask Moore to put his hands out of the window, later instructing him to exit the vehicle.
The coach, who appears to be crying, says he has a shoulder injury and can’t be handcuffed. He tells one of the officers he just got fired, eliciting some sympathy from the lawman.
“That’s part of life, I guess,” he says. “They wanted to fire me anyways.”
The officer then asks how he’s feeling, and Moore says something about a therapist, with his response mostly inaudible. The cop tells him they’re trying to help.
“I don’t wanna hurt myself, man,” he’s heard saying. “I got a beautiful family, kids.”
The cops search Moore and ask whether there’s anything in the car that should concern them. He tells them there’s a pair of scissors inside.

The University of Michigan fired Moore with cause in December following the discovery of an inappropriate relationship with a member of staff.
He went to her house shortly after and allegedly threatened to kill himself in front of her, grabbing a pair of scissors and butter knives from her kitchen drawer.
His wife, Kelli, had called police to report that he had threatened to take his life.
The 40-year-old was eventually charged with felony home invasion, misdemeanor stalking and misdemeanor breaking and entering.
He has since pleaded no contest to the misdemeanors as part of a deal with prosecutors and is due for sentencing on April 14.
Meanwhile, Shiver has been dismissed by Michigan and is considering lawsuits against both Moore and the university.
