We're at the end of February, and DC has published a whole bunch of new comics that continue a variety of storylines. This week's titles require some prior investment as there are no new runs introduced, but you'll probably be fine with a small refresher.
The Brave and the Bold returns with issue #10 which sees Lois Lane at the heart of a conspiracy, and pits the former Man-Bat Kirk Langstrom against a new doppelganger. This issue also includes special appearances from Maps Mizoguchi and Tristan Grey, along with a Batman Black & White story by Dan Watters and Ricardo López Ortiz.
Elsewhere, Queen Nubia and the other Amazons find themselves under the crosshairs of a new foe - Peacemaker in Amazons Attack #5. Mary Marvel comes to the rescue of the Amazons, but that may not be enough with a mysterious new threat rising from the shadows. Speaking of characters in the morally grey zone, Penguin #7 sees Oswald Cobblepot team up with Batman in the second chapter of their first adventure.
Fans of classic heroes can look forward to a new Jay Garrick adventure as the fastest man alive teams up with Judy to thwart Doctor Elemental's plan to capture Joan. Speaking of classics, Detective Comics #1082 continues the “Elegy of Sand” storyline, with the Orghams hypnotizing the citizens of Gotham into believing that Batman never existed.
Power Girl #6 continues Leah Williams' latest run where the eponymous hero is joined by Supergirl to track down the missing, time-displaced citizens of Metropolis. The Flash and Green Arrow also get new issues in their stand-alone runs, while Harley Quinn #37 sees the clown queen of crime traverse through the "clowniverse". Sure, why not?
Graphic novel fans can have a twisted story in store for them with Knight Terrors: Knocturnal Creatures. In it, DC's heroes and villains come under the influence of Insomnia and his Sleepless Knights. The graphic novel collects Knight Terrors: Harley Quinn #1-2, Knight Terrors: The Joker #1-2, and some other issues.
