New Details Emerge From Michigan-Ohio State Brawl

The Michigan Wolverines wrapped up their 2024 regular season campaign by picking up a shocking 13-10 upset victory over the Ohio State Buckeyes in the latest edition of "The Game." Immediately after the contest ended, a massive brawl broke out between the two teams at the middle of the field.

With the huge win in tow, the Wolverines planted their flag at the center of Ohio Stadium, which did not go over well with the Buckeyes. The end result was a huge fight that escalated very quickly and resulted in police officers and other security personnel stepping in to break things up.

To say the scene was chaotic would be an understatement, and it's to the point where details are still emerging on the situation. According to a recent report, there were three police officers who used pepper spray on players in an attempt to clean up the situation on the field.

It was known that pepper spray was used on some players, but the extent of the situation was not. The investigation into the situation revealed that officers from both the Ohio State and Michigan police department utilized pepper spray, in addition to a member of the Franklin County Sheriff's department.

Both the Buckeyes and Wolverines were fined $100,000 for this fight, but no players were suspended, which would have been particularly consequential for Ohio State. Whether or not these police officers will be reprimanded for their use of pepper spray in this situation remains to be seen.

For now, the investigation into this brawl is still ongoing, so there could be more punishments to come. But this shocking detail shows just how dangerous this situation was, and it will be worth keeping an eye out to see if more information comes to light in the near future.
