New Inter Milan Manager Erases Painful Memories From Munich In His Serie A Debut

Cristian Chivu enjoyed a dream Serie A debut as Inter Milan manager as his side demolished Torino 5-0 at San Siro.

According to Corriere dello Sport via FCInterNews, the 44-year-old ‘erased the memory’ of the Munich final.

Last season was heartbreaking for the Nerazzurri.

In addition to surrendering the Scudetto to Napoli, they slumped to a 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final.

As a result, Simone Inzaghi left the club, with Inter turning to Cristian Chivu to fill the void.

Chivu arrived at San Siro shortly before Inter’s trip to North America for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

However, the Romanian coach excelled in his first Serie A game in charge of the Nerazzurri.

Indeed, it’s been a while since Inter last looked as dominant as they did against the Granata last night.
