A New Zealand A team, with nine former BLACKCAPS players, will tour Bangladesh next month for five matches: three white-ball games and two four-day matches in Sylhet and Dhaka.

Bob Carter will coach the squad, with support from fellow NZC high-performance coach Paul Wiseman and former Otago Volts assistant coach Ben McCord.

Commenting on this, Carter said: “We’re really looking forward to touring Bangladesh. It’s been great to reward solid performers throughout the home summer."

"For several players, it will be their first time experiencing sub-continent conditions, which will be a great challenge and opportunity to further their skillsets,” he added.

The squad will depart from Auckland on Thursday, May 1, before their first 50 Over match in Sylhet on May 5.
